What We Do
Managed Wireless Infrastructure
We are experts at Wi-Fi and specialize in high-density, public networks, utilizing the latest in cloud-managed, AI-enhanced Wi-Fi network access points and controllers to provide top-tier, fast Internet connectivity. We are hardware neutral and select the best equipment for the job all supporting Wi-Fi 6, 6e, & 7. We provide on-going Managed Wi-Fi Service or temporary Wi-Fi for events. Our work in various industries, including hospitality, healthcare, and commercial real estate, has given us valuable insights and proven results. For instance, we were instrumental in the transformation of the Philadelphia International Airport's wireless infrastructure, upgrading their systems to utilize cutting-edge C-band and 5G technologies. Similarly, our managed services experiences at Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport and Sarasota Bradenton International Airport show our proficiency in this arena.
Private Networks (DAS/5G/CBRS)
The digital landscape is constantly evolving, and at SLICE Wireless Solutions, we're committed to being at the forefront of technological advancements. Our dedication to delivering cutting-edge connectivity is exemplified in our work with 5G and Citizens Broadband Radio Service (CBRS) technologies.
Defining 5G & CBRS
5G, or Fifth Generation cellular networks, represent a monumental leap in mobile communications, offering enhanced data speeds and ultra-low latency. This advanced technology paves the way for swift information exchanges and seamless online experiences.
CBRS, or Citizens Broadband Radio Service, is a shared spectrum that facilitates the creation of high-performing private networks. This flexible technology allows for reliable connectivity tailored to your specific needs.
Both 5G and CBRS are integral for businesses seeking dependable, high-speed, and adaptable connectivity.
A Distributed Antenna System (DAS) is a network of antennas placed strategically to enhance signals in hard-to-reach places. By eliminating dead zones and reducing dropped calls, a DAS ensures seamless data usage and elevates your communication capabilities.
Small Cell Networks are compact cellular stations that provide enhanced capacity and coverage in high-traffic or difficult-to-reach areas. They increasingly important in the era of high-speed, high-capacity 5G networks.
These solutions are essential to maintain robust and reliable connectivity in diverse environments—be it enterprises, campuses, arenas, hospitals, and more.
SLICE Wireless Past Work & Experience Spotlight
Our partnerships with carriers and technology providers like T-Mobile, AT&T, and Verizon guarantee a dependable solution for our clients.
Slice has deployed private wireless networks at various airports using LoRaWAN, CBRE/Private LTE. We maintain a private wireless network for AT&T which is an Ericsson CRAN based small cell network that covers parts of the parking garages and the access and departure roadways. We have designed built and now operate private networks for Spirit Airlines, Atmosphere TV and Clear Channel, as well as a private IoT network for Smart Restrooms and Passenger Flow, and Dwell Time Analytics.
Edge Computing
Defined: Edge computing is a distributed computing model that brings enterprise applications closer to data sources such as IoT devices or local edge servers. This proximity to data at its source can deliver strong business benefits, including faster insights, improved response times and better bandwidth availability.
The Problem: The explosive growth of IoT devices has resulted in unprecedented volumes of data. And data volumes continue to grow as 5G networks increase the number of connected mobile devices. Sending all device-generated data to a centralized data center or to the cloud causes bandwidth and latency issues.
The Solution: SLICE offers a more efficient alternative with a Unified Management Platform with WiSNET. Because data does not traverse over a network to a cloud or data center to be processed, latency is reduced. Mobile edge computing on 5G networks—enables faster and more comprehensive data analysis, creating the opportunity for deeper insights, faster response times and improved customer experiences.
Cost Recovery
WiSNET is a patented service offering that turns a revenue-dormant wireless network into an alive, highly active unified smart gateway engineered to generate and extract revenue through captive portals, tracking and targeting ads, and uplink control (pay tier services); among other built-in platform functions all controlled by a single central policy engine. This allows the network manager to “slice” up the bandwidth, controlling access to both wired and wireless networks with per user, per group, or per network traffic shaping and dynamic VLAN assignment providing maximum security and auditing. Not only can you slice bandwidth into multiple networks, but you can do so down to the individual device to further offer enhanced experiences and limit data breaches at the user level with WiSNET. With this technology, Slice is able to quickly enable an enhanced response capability to deliver individual and customized, feature-rich control within a branded portal with advanced data, revenue generation, and location tracking.
