Jo-Anne Dressendofer | Founder & President

SLICE’s founder and president, Jo-Anne Dressendofer, is highly respected in the field of wireless technology, and has recently co-authored the prestigious textbook by Wiley Publishers, ‘High-Density and De-Densified Smart Campus Communications’, which covers the subject of smart wireless networks and the implementation of WiSNET at the BWI Airport as a precedent example of its successful implementation and outstanding results. Ms. Dressendofer was awarded both Inc. 500 and Ernst and Young Entrepreneur of the Year awards, and was named for leading the 2022 Top Wireless IT team of the Year. Ms. Dressendofer’s business endeavors have been covered by many top newspapers and magazines, and under her leadership, SLICE has been named recently by the International Wi-Fi Now as Best WI-FI Service Provider Solution in 2023, selected as the 2023 Top Small Businesses SBAGC by the federal government, and Cintas Smart Restroom of the Year for their extraordinary game-changing work at BWI Airport.

John Hutzler | Chief Operating Officer & Senior Network Engineer

John Hutzler has over 30 years’ experience working in the technology world. He has extensive experience in educational technology having served as IT Director at several prestigious New York City Private schools and served on the Technology Committee of the New York State Association of Independent Schools (NYSAIS). He founded and served as president of Now Interactive Solutions, an interactive agency, from 1997-2004. John brings years of expertise both in logistics, planning, and the smart deployment of technology solutions. He also is a master of bridging the communications gaps between hard-core engineers and end- users. At Slice, he serves as Chief Operating Officer and Senior Network Engineer leading a team of network engineers that design, install and manage all our large accounts. He is the Project Manager at Sarasota Airport and works with Ed Wright at BWI.

Ed Wright | Chief Technology Officer

Ed Wright drives innovation strategy and growth for the company’s solutions and ensures technology excellence. He is responsible for long-term technology strategy/ vision and advocating for that vision with customers. As chief technology officer, he drives Slice’s Research and Development pushing Slice’s innovative wireless product lines and boosting technology excellence across the company. 

Mr. Wright has more than 25 years of experience delivering technology-differentiated solutions to private, public and international customers. Prior to Slice, he served in ownership and engineering roles at Codefab and Wrightlab LLC. 

Jonathan Sklar | Chief Financial Officer

Jonathan Sklar is a seasoned professional with a sterling record of over 30 years in business management and operations. Beyond his exceptional skills in finance, he boasts a rich background and certifications in the realm of technology, particularly networking and telecom.

A 1984 MBA graduate of The Darden School with a dual focus in Finance and Entrepreneurship, Mr. Sklar also holds a BS degree in Nuclear Engineering from the University of Virginia. His diverse qualifications include certifications for 3Com Wide Area Communications products, a Novell Certified Netware Engineer (CNE), and a certified Excalibur Imaging Consultant. As a distinguished speaker, he has presented at conferences hosted by prominent organizations such as the Capital Area Network Users Group, Europe’s VPN Users Association, the American Nuclear Society, the Office Automation Society International, NovaForge’s Security Planning Seminars, and the Entrepreneurs Organization (EO).

With this unique blend of expertise, Jonathan seamlessly integrates into the dynamic puzzle of Slice, bringing valuable insights and a comprehensive approach to the table.

Jody Westby, Esq. | Cybersecurity Expert

Jody Westby is a prominent authority in the field of cyber networks, driving the forefront of Slice Wireless Solutions' client wireless network risk prevention efforts. With her expertise and leadership, she takes charge of maintaining the utmost security for our networks, ensuring that they remain resilient against potential threats.
