About Slice Wireless Solutions, Inc.
Slice Wireless Solutions, Inc. was founded in 2016 to address the rapidly expanding need for fast, reliable Wi-Fi service in permanent and temporary locations. We achieved market recognition in New York City, as one of the leading Wi-Fi providers in the NY metro area, after successfully supporting NY Fashion Week, many hackathons, the Staten Island Ferry, downtown Brooklyn, and the parks at Hudson Yards. In 2017, we won CIO Magazine’s category award for Top Wireless Solution Providers. The company expanded to Nashville in 2018, opened an office, and now has several contracts in downtown Nashville including the famed Nashville Schermerhorn Symphony Center.
A Leader in High Density Networks and Network Slicing
Slice has a strategic expertise and focus on airports and large, high density networks. Over the last 2 years, Slice has won major multi-million dollar contracts with the Thurgood Marshall Baltimore Washington International Airport (BWI), Sarasota Braden National Airport (SRW), and most recently Philadelphia International Airport (PHL), beating out stiff competition from the largest telecoms in the world. Slice is known for the special expertise in “slicing” up networks enabling unprecedented customer, business, operational and employee control and capabilities.
The Slice Difference and WiSNET
In addition to being Wireless experts, Slice is disrupting the multi-billion telecom industry by providing a neutrally hosted super network called WiSNET, using a unique business model that delivers control and revenue back to clients. We offer a better, more flexible choice over the standard carrier, tower, and paid Wi-Fi solutions. Slice is representing a new generation of wireless networking, in order to deliver what customers want - a world-class wireless hub built upon a comprehensive operational, and customer-facing, platform - utilizing the optimal mix of current and emerging wireless and wired technologies. Our CEO, Jo-Anne (Josie) Dressendofer is a pioneer in the super network arena, and developed the patent-pending WiSNET solution. WiSNET is featured in a textbook she co-authored, High Density Networking (Wiley Publishing 2022)
